Lagos State Actors Guild Of Nigeria Exco Dissolved

The exco of the Lagos State chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has been dissolved.
NET gathered that the exco led by the State Chapter President, Emeka Rising was dissolved Monday, March 4, 2013 after their tenure expired.

Speaking to NET in a telephone conversation, the National President of the AGN, Ibinabo Fiberesima confirmed the dissolution. She said ‘There shouldn’t be so much fuss about this. It is a normal occurrence, their tenure expired and so it is only normal for the administration to be dissolved until another election’
When asked how the chapter will be run pending fresh elections, she said the AGN ’will set up a caretaker committee that will oversee the workings of the chapter until the new excos will be elected’
A source told us this evening, that one Wisdom Nwankwo has been appointed as sole administrator of the Lagos AGN pending when the caretaker committee is set up.
