‘Roman Empire’ album art proves Olamide is the architect of his own brand

Olamide - Baddest Guy Ever Liveth album cover
Without a doubt, Olamide‘s third album ‘Baddest Guy Ever Liveth‘ is one of the most anticipated albums of 2013. Initially intended to be a mixtape, the project was immediately converted to an LP after fans and critics praised the singles ‘Durosoke‘, and ‘Rayban Abacha‘.

Olamide has announced he will be releasing the album on November 7, 2013. The YBNL rapper made this known on Instagram as he uploaded this picture which could be the final art work for the album.
The art work depicts Olamide wearing the popular ancient Roman Empire attire with a laurel leaf hat. He also closes his eyes and spreads his arms out. Olamide clearly taps into the current Hip-Hop trend – art and religion, something the likes of Jay ZKanye West and J Cole themed their 2013 albums around.
Creatively, Olamide seems to be in a world of his own; ever since leaving ID Cabasa‘s CODED Tunes and Toni Payne‘s management, the young rapper has been the architect of his new brand. He has often thrown jabs at other rappers signed to record labels, stating that they don’t have a say in their careers.
